From SFO Airport/San Francisco:

  1. •Take Highway 101 North across the Golden Gate Bridge

  2. •Exit East Washington Street in Petaluma, turn left on East Washington

  3. •Continue through Petaluma, East Washington becomes Bodega Bay Highway

  4. •Bear left onto California Highway Route 1 (go 21 miles)

  5. •Continue through Bodega Bay, Jenner Inn will be on your right, just past Highway 116

  6. •Watch for the blue awning of the Jenner Inn on your right


From Oakland Airport/East Bay:

  1. •Take Highway 880 North (go 10 miles)

  2. •Take Highway 580 West across the Richmond Bridge, $3 Toll (go 16 miles)

  3. •Take Highway 101 North (go 22 miles)

  4. •Exit East Washington Street in Petaluma, turn left on East Washington

  5. •Continue through Petaluma, East Washington becomes Bodega Bay Highway

  6. •Bear left onto California Highway Route 1 (go 21 miles)

From Sacramento:

  1. •Take Highway 80 West (go 48 miles)

  2. •Exit Highway 37 West, Marine World Parkway (go 21 miles)

  3. •Take Highway 101 North (go 13 miles)

  4. •Exit East Washington Street in Petaluma, turn left on East Washington

  5. •Continue through Petaluma, East Washington becomes Bodega Bay Highway

  6. •Bear left onto California Highway Route 1 (go 21 miles)

  7. •Continue through Bodega Bay, Jenner Inn will be on your right, just past Highway 116

From the North:

  1. •Take Highway 101 South

  2. •Exit River Road, turn right

  3. •Follow River Road into Guerneville, continue straight on Highway 116 West (go 12 miles)

  4. •When 116 ends, bear right onto California Highway Route 1 North (go 1 mile)

  5. •Watch for the blue awning of the Jenner Inn on your right

Ceremony Location:

Our wedding ceremony will be taking place on a bluff overlooking Shell Beach.  The overlook is located south of Jenner Inn off of Hwy 1, at the end of Pacific View Drive. Two parking areas will be available that lead to a short trail to the bluff, see below photo.  For a google map of the location click on this link:  Shell Beach Overlook (or see the below photo map).


Parking:

Because parking is limited (and shared with the public), we will need everyone to carpool to the site.  If you do not already have a full vehicle, please plan to come to the Jenner Inn at 3:30pm so we can coordinate carpools for guests.  It only takes 5 minutes to get to the site from the Jenner Inn. 


Directions from Jenner Inn to Shell Beach Overlook:

Drive south on Hwy 1 for 2.8 miles.  On your right you will see Pacific View Drive.  Turn right and drive down to the end of the road and you will come to a small parking lot.  Park and follow the signs to the bluff. 


If the overlook parking lot is full, go back to Hwy one, drive south and take the next right into Shell Beach Parking lot.  To get to the ceremony site, walk along the trail that leads north (not down to the beach) to the overlook.  Follow the signs to our ceremony site.

There are a few different routes you can take to get to Jenner Inn.  Below are directions that may avoid traffic during rush hour and also provide for a more scenic route.  On average, the drive will take 2 hours.
